#Thriller/#Historical #Drama #TV #Review: Laybyrinth (2012) (Some Spoilers)

An archaeological volunteer, killing time in France while waiting to find out about an inheritance, finds a ring that sends her mind spiraling through time and becoming entangled in the life of a woman living in the Middle-Ages.

This sounds a little dry until you find out that the part of the Middle-Ages in question is during the time of the bloody eradication of the Cathar religion in Europe. Add to that a modern-day conspiracy and some fairly shocking and unexpected violence and you have a passable thriller in the vein of The Da Vinci Code, but not quite as silly.

Worth a glance.
